i just randomly remembered getting blamed for things i didn’t do when i was much younger. Any attempt to defend myself ended up in me crying as i defended myself.

I'm yet to read this, but I have thought of writing about it. My take is - don't fart in public with people around, period! Don't fart in a bus, church, class, conference, etcetera. Get up and go to the toilet or somewhere without people. You wouldn't pee or poop in public right? Why fart in public then? It's such an annoying thing. It irritates the heck out of me.
We have some serial gaslighters in our car--juvenile offenders, lol--and we instituted a rule that no one will be ridiculed for letting one off, as long as they open the window.
Turns out my juvenile gaslighters prefer the glory of ridicule. They relish the reactions.
