Sometimes just the thought of that fact that there is so much I need to read and so much knowledge I need to gain keeps me from reading. I wish it didn't.

Interesting take. I’ve found reading to be a great source of inspiration for me, especially if it’s similar to the type of writing I’m doing at that moment (short story, newsletter, etc). But I agree with you, in the sense that there is this pressure from the world to have read every book under the sun.

Harun, you make a solid point there. If it’s the type of writing i’m doing right now, the book makes me want to read it and swallow it (if starving and out of groceries).
