Omg I can be awkward starting conversations in public too!
I think I would smile if I saw the shirt. Maybe because it’s so relatable. And if we happen to make eye contact in the process, we might strike a conversation. It all depends cos we humans can be weird sometimes sha. Introverts especially😂 we tend to overthink and have conversations in our head a lot and this could happen. Or I might just be too engrossed in a book to notice. But cool concept!
yes yes! introverts. Especially the socially awkward ones. But a shirt like this lowers the bar of conversation-entry for someone like me. Because i can’t help but compliment the shirt and from there we hit it off.
Not 100% that the conversation will always be long but a quick smiling and talking about what’s written on the shirt and “WHY” the person bought this particular one can be a great ice breaker. 😅
I have one that says “God Abeg”, and another that says Abi kin sa lo ni ( that’s Yoruba for should I run away?). I once got a comment from a man begging me not to run away, it was hilarious 😂
Absolutely! I made several that say "Do you want to travel the world with me?" (and checkboxes for yes, no and maybe). You will not BELIEVE what an icebreaker they are. I am approached SO often, and in particular I now know what it's like for girls to be approached by guys that they may not be interested in, as THIS is happening too. They are actually DISAPPOINTED when they're not the chosen one.

Hahaha that t shirt is hilarious 😆
you think so? 😅
lol absolutely 💯
at least, now i know, even if the world doesn’t wear the shirt: Jules would.
I would wear that shirt too lol 😜
thanks, Sol. 😅
do you have a link to where I can buy it?
Hell yeah I would!
A very smart way to start a conversation. I like it.
awnnn! thank you, Seraphina. I’m curious, what does “Seraphina” mean?
It means Angel.
It was coined out from the angels named Seraphim.
I would make a comment or smile at the wearer.

hahahahaahahahahahahaha!! see! people actually notice and would respond

wait fr?!! 😂😂😂 now i’m even more inspired to make more t-shirts like this to give people more ideas on shirts they can customize.
i have some questions:
1. Ulrich, do you mind if i make this exact one and make a newsletter post out of it?
2. have you made friends who are currently in your life through wearing this shirt?
3. do you mind sharing a picture of the shirt via substack DM?
4. are you from 🇩🇪 ?
