get lost so you can get found
travel with no where in mind so you can return home with a clearer purpose in mind?
Maybe this is my cue for taking that train ride I have been anticipating. Where I get on a train and have no plans for where I’m going. All I want to do is stare outside of the window to wonder and wander. Playing Mario Kart on my Nintendo Switch Lite in between.
Leaving my comfort zone helps me leave behind the worry of when my next rent bill is due or what I’m spending money on next.
It hit me why I like to go on long road trips, perhaps because this sentence by Austin Kleon resonates daily.
In other words, travel feels like that friend who can’t solve my problems but can listen. I share my problems, unpack my emotions, and he won’t say a word back to me.
His presence alone solves my problems.
When we run from problems, Just maybe all we’re yearning for is CONNECTION; all we’re yearning for is PRESENCE?

Travel’s presence alone solves my problems. Mmm that’s a word!! I agree with that 💯- you get out so you can see clearly in because being in it can get noisy or cloudy as hell!!
I absolutely love love your notes.
