I’m talking about customer care representatives. Yes, those ones you only remember when something isn’t working. LOL.
When we talk to them, It's very easy to forget that they're humans just like us.
We rant so much about the challenges we face using their system that we forget that we're actually chatting with someone like us. It could have been us at the other end instead of them.
Today’s diary is a reminder to treat these guys we call "Customer Care Agents", the way we'd want to be treated too.
This is not saying you shouldn't get angry over a 5k withdrawal you attempted at the ATM that didn't dispense but you were debited. However, after lashing out at them apologize and say something nice just like you would to a friend.
Because at the end of the day, It's not their fault. They work for the company but aren't the company. They just happen to take the hits on behalf of the owners.
Shouting at them is making it their own personal problems, when it’s actually an entire company problem.
Be angry but be nice.
