there’s a game being played on the internet, and this game is far dangerous than Squid Game.
coincidentally, it’s also the reason I deliver this Jollof-Write less often these days.

now we’re more than enough to play Squid Game.
And no, there’ll be no bloodshed. Not under my watch!
the point is these days you barely get one. And I can explain.
apart from spending most of my 24 hours binging shows like The Closer (Dave Chappelle), Squid Game, and attending boring Zoom classes — I spend the rest scrolling the internet in search of interesting writers or scroll-stopping write-ups that’ll make me forget I have series lined up in my “watch later” tab.
writers like this:
after reading that, your reaction would probably be:
“Mr Christopher, I had no plans following you.”
“for christ's sake, don’t tell me how to use my internet!”
“what do you mean my-different? my purpose?”
whatever Mr. Christopher means by “your different”, I have no idea, but I know one thing:
He’s an interesting writer! I mean, he got me to write all these about him.
even more interesting is this:
thankfully, I’ve never followed anyone online called ‘passion’.
but I thought most of the thought leaders you listen to swore you should follow your passion? 🤨

this is the result of the dangerous game being played online.
Mr X says one thing and Mrs Y says the opposite. Then you doubt yourself. And before you know, you’re doing what they want you to do — even if it means licking bricks and carving out shapes/letters out of it.
what you don’t realize is the last man standing is: YOU.
you can decide to quit playing their game today — And instead, have an opinion of your own and live with it.
